Scorch realizes too late that he was taken to a death trap planned by General Shanker. When the trap does work, Scorch and other brilliant minds of the universe are trapped, so Gary rushes to rescue them, but finds that the interplanetary plot has dimensions that only their big brains and courage can stop Scorch.
